Stop Negotiating With Your Thoughts

Your mind is a computer running old programming. It will always tell you why your inspired ideas won't work, why you can't afford it, why you should play it safe. And you listen. You negotiate. You talk yourself out of miracles. We see you—caught between the whisper of inspiration and the scream of logic. Between what feels like alignment and what makes sense. Here's the truth: miracles never make sense. They come from the "I don't know" space. From following peace even when your brain is screaming no. From taking inspired action that has zero logical reason to work—and watching it transform everything. Stop letting your mind drive the bus. It only knows what's already happened. It has no idea where the miracles are.

Welcome to Teachings from the Masters with Daryl Sean Price. Hi, welcome. So glad you're here. So I want to talk about a concept that many, many, many of the great masters taught, in fact, probably all of them, that seems really difficult for us to grasp, especially in the modern world. And it's this you want to end suffering, if you want to end worry in your life, stop thinking. And I know right now you're already arguing that. You're already saying, but I have to think, and I think all the time, and my mind is racing, and well, my thoughts create my reality. You've even said that. Yes, that's all true. Here's what they mean when they say stop thinking, you'll end all worry. It's stop negotiating with your mind and every thought that comes down the pipeline. And I know you're doing it, because I've done it for most of my life. And I see everybody do it on a regular basis. I see so many people I work with caught in this loop of thinking and thinking and thinking until they think themselves out of the world they can create. And let me explain how it goes. So, whatever it is you're trying to manifest, whatever it is you're trying to create in life, whatever you're trying to step into as that master, as that creator, so you can really step into your role as the master, your mind will have thoughts about. But the thoughts are always based on the current programming that you're probably trying to step out of. So it goes something like this. Okay, I want to manifest more money, and I want to create financial freedom, and I want to know what that feels like, and I want to have that experience, and that's great. And you probably visualize and meditate and do whatever you can to get into the feeling of it and even feel that it's real. And then immediately your mind races and goes, okay, well, what about bills and what about this, and what about paying for that? And how are we going to get there? etc. etc. And you put a lot of attention on what your thoughts are instead of being in the state of I don't know. And the state of I don't know is the most powerful place from which you will create your reality. That's where the miracles happen. So let me give you an example. And I've used this example in a lot of different presentations that I've given throughout the years. Let's say you're in this mode of, hey, I'm really in alignment, I feel really good. My mind, my heart, my spirit, my body all feel in sync. And you get inspired to go write a book on barrel curing pickles. Well, your mind does exactly what it's meant to do. It is a computer that is processing and has all the information for everything that has happened and is happening in your life right now. So if you've never barrel cured a pickle, your mind will immediately go, Data, whoa, nope, can't do that. We don't have any info for that. Don't know what to pull up. You don't know how to barrel cure pickles. That's ridiculous. Why would you write a book about that? And what do we normally do? We negotiate with those thoughts. We start to pay attention to them. Yeah, that's right. I bet guess I better go do more research. I need to do this. Or, well, that's a stupid idea, or let me just put it off. Maybe I'll take some more courses, maybe I'll do some more of this, etc. etc. We're not paying attention now to feeling in alignment and following the inspired action. We're paying attention to all the thoughts that came the moment we had that inspiration. So we start negotiating with our thoughts. And the reality is your mind will switch based on what you choose to act on. So you get this inspiration to write a book on barrel curing pickles, and then all of a sudden open up a document on your computer and write how to barrel cure a pickle. Well, now your mind doesn't say, oh, you can't do that, you're not doing that. Oh, you're doing this. Well, you better go do research. You better go do this, you better go find a mentor, you better. So it starts giving you data about what you're currently doing, because that's its job. And the moment you take that action, that inspired action, I'm going to write this book and start writing it on paper, your mind starts giving you data to support that, whatever data it has, which may not be much. And who knows where that leads. It could be you never do write the book, and that wasn't the point of the inspiration. It could be you'd go to this convention for people who barrel cure pickles and meet someone who changes your life. It leads to the exact financial freedom you are wanting that you never would have done otherwise. That's where the miracles come from. You're not doing something because it makes sense. You're always acting in the I don't know because I'm not acting, FaZe. It's inspired action. Now let's take this to probably a more real-case scenario. So you want financial freedom, you want health, you want the adventures, you want the travel, you want the new place, you want better relationships, whatever it is, whatever that desire is, that you've decided, yes, that's what I want. Well, you may or may not have had the inspired action yet, but I know your mind is already racing. Let's go to the financial freedom. Let's go to the having more money desire. Okay, but right now you're only making this, and it's only this, and you're barely paying this bill. And what about this? And well, what if you did a side gig? And what if you did this hustle? And what if you went and bought this business? And what if the, and look, there's these courses you could take, and you can go do this, and you can go do that, and you're probably jumping on everyone. Because it makes sense. Okay, that makes sense, okay, that makes sense, okay, that makes sense. Inspired action never needs to make sense. It's in that state of I don't know that the miracle happens. The money that has flowed into my life to allow me to live free has never come from something that makes sense. Because if it makes sense, it's keeping you in the same paradigm. It's not shifting your identity. For those of you that get it on that level, you're probably doing the same pattern now on a different level. And let me explain. So you have heard from so many people with so many techniques on what to do to manifest your reality. You don't need any techniques, but your mind thinks you do. Okay, well, you've now decided that our reality is we can create things magically by working on our inner self. Okay, well, we better work on our inner self. So there's the journaling technique, or you can go learn this technique, or you can go do the 369, or you can go do this meditation and this visualization, and this and this, and this, and this. Oh, that makes sense. I'll just truth, I'm gonna keep trying that one. And you might be caught in that cycle of I'm gonna try a million different techniques until I figure out what works. That is the same mindset of what I do is creating my reality. Rather than who I am creates my reality. And the reality is this you don't have to do anything, and in fact, you should be doing nothing unless it's an inspired action. So let's really dig in, let's really lean into that inspired action. First off, I want you to start to pay attention in your life at any moment. Become aware of how you feel. Are you in alignment or not? That's it. Are you in that state of peace where your spirit, your heart, your mind, and your body are in sync and you feel that peaceful flow? If you are, then you are exactly where you're meant to be, doing exactly what you're meant to be doing. The moment your mind says, Oh, well, we're just laying in bed, you better roll over and grab that journal and start writing your affirmations, and it doesn't feel like you're in alignment anymore, stop. Not inspired action. It's really that simple. Anything that overcomplicates it beyond live in alignment and follow inspired action is gonna get you caught in that same loop of negotiating with your thoughts. And it doesn't mean you won't get there, but it means you're taking a longer, harder route. So back to the original example. Inspired to write a book about barrel-curing pickles that lead you to go to a convention that meets someone that changes your life. It was never about writing the book. But the miracle happened in that state of, I don't know, but I'm doing it because it feels like alignment to do so. I'm gonna give you an example from my life currently. So I'm in the process of moving across the nation for this is probably the fourth, fifth time in my life. I don't know. I do this frequently. It feels like it's time to go, I pack up and go. And in this situation, I had no idea where the expenses for moving are gonna come from, where I'm gonna end up, what I'm gonna be doing, etc. But I didn't care. Felt right, started packing. Next thing you know, I have somebody who's building a business that needs my help. Here you go. I'm gonna pay you this. Oh, this person wants to help with moving expenses. Here's your money. Oh, look, here's some places. Go look at them, see what you like. It all just fell into place. And I know your mind is gonna say, well, what did you actually do? Who did you contact? How did you get it? Where did it come from? I don't care. Neither should you. I decided it was time to go because it felt inspired to go. Oh, I'm done with this place. And boom, all the miracles happen to line up so I can leave. That's it. And it's really that simple, guys. So here's what I want you to do every day, starting tomorrow. Pay attention to how you feel at any moment. Are you in alignment or are you out of alignment? Before you do anything, get into alignment. That means get into that state of peace where it does not matter what is happening outside of you. The whole world could be falling apart or the whole world could be falling together. I'm at peace either way. So, yeah, I do, and by the way, go to DarrellShawnprice.com. I'm going to link the guided meditations I've created that I use on a regular basis. Use the ones that work for you. Or any other one, it doesn't have to be mine. But I meditate to get myself into a state where I know my spirit, heart, mind, and body are in sync. And I stay in that state. Now there are times, for example, when I realized, and this is a little while ago, when I realized that there was a lot of things that kept popping up in my thoughts because I was aware of them that I didn't like the pattern of, and decided, oh, I don't want to keep thinking those things anymore. Well, there was an inspired action to go do some techniques that I don't do on a regular basis anymore, but were the exact perfect thing I needed to do to plant new seeds in my subconscious so the old patterns don't keep coming up so that the beliefs can be changed. You don't have to figure out the how, even for that. All you do is live in a state of alignment. All you do is follow inspired action when it comes up. And how do you know if it's inspired action? Because when you're aware of that thought, when you're having that experience, when you're hearing that phrase, when you are somehow engaged in any experience and it feels like alignment, it's inspired. Just like going back to that example of, oh, I'm gonna write a book on barrel curing pickles. By the way, I've never done that. I don't know anyone who's done that. I just use it as an optic lesson. Or I'm gonna move across the nation. Or I'm gonna drastically change my life and do something I've never done before. Or sometimes it's as simple as. And in the middle of this, I felt inspired to go out and get a pokeball. This is a luxury. I didn't need a pokeyball, I wasn't super hungry. But thought came, I was aware of it, it felt like inspired action because I felt at peace and flow and said, All right, I'm listening. It doesn't have to make sense why. My mind was negotiating. Well, you shouldn't do that, and all these other people that you're living with that are also struggling, you're kind of leaving them out, and blah, blah, blah. Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine. I could have negotiated with my mind. I could have easily convinced myself it's not the right thing to do. But it felt right. I followed inspired action and ended up sitting next to somebody who I struck up a conversation with that gave me an opportunity I've wanted for a long time, that allowed me to meet celebrities, that allowed me to work one-on-one with VIP people at a convention that I love, and gave me enough money to get us out of the hole we were in and back up on our feet. That would not have happened if I wasn't in the I don't know state. And that is your most powerful state. End your suffering, end your worries by not negotiating with your thoughts anymore, by ending your thinking, which really means stop letting your brain drive the bus because it only knows what has happened and what is happening now. It doesn't know the miracle. There is no conceivable logical way my brain could have told me at that moment, you need to go get a poke bowl and all of a sudden this problem will be solved. You need to go write a book on barrel curing pickles, and all of a sudden you'll meet somebody who changes your life. You need to pack up and start getting ready to move across the nation without figuring out how you're gonna do it. Stop negotiating with your thoughts. Because you're already a powerful creator. And the more you negotiate with your thoughts, the more you're keeping yourself in that same pattern of only creating what you've already created. So, yeah, it's a big leap of faith. But that's where your true power comes from. That attention that you put on I'm living in alignment, no matter what. My spirit, my heart, my mind, and my body are in sync. I'm at peace. If something comes up in my experience, whether it's a thought, whether it's something I hear, whether it's something that I'm experiencing, and it feels like peace, I'm following it, whether it makes sense or not. If things come up and they don't feel like peace, I'm not paying attention to them, whether they make sense or not. And that's how simple it is. I'm gonna give you another quick miracle from my life. So many of you know that years ago I was hospitalized, um, and there were some thoughts that I might not get out of the hospital because the doctors could not figure out why my body was failing. And it was over and over again, one system after another. And it started with me getting influenza B, which shouldn't be a life-threatening thing, shouldn't have caused all these issues. But at that point, I'd been living with the belief for so many years that I'm not allowed to be healthy because I was born with a rare liver disease and all these other conditions I've been told my entire life. And um, I was told by a well-meaning mother that I would never be strong, I would never be healthy, I would always have health concerns, and I'd lived with that belief for a long time. So here I am in the hospital saying, I'm not allowed to be healthy. These people outside of me can make me healthy. And something clicked while I was in the hospital that day. And I decided, I don't, I'm gonna just choose to be at peace no matter what. Maybe I die, maybe I live. I don't care, I'm at peace. And I got into alignment and things started shifting. And I left the hospital a few days later, and I was still weak enough that I couldn't even really stand or walk or do anything, so I was bedridden. But two days after that, I got up, walked, I was fine. A week ago, I was having some nasal congestion, some issues, and decided to go to the doctor and thought, okay, it's probably something simple, but let me see what the doctor says. And I haven't been to the doctor in a long time, by the way. But it felt inspired to do so. So here it is, here it is. My brain's like, well, you don't need to go to the doctor. You can do herbal teas and this and da-da-da-da-da. But I didn't care what my brain said. I felt inspired and I went. And the doctor said, Oh, it's probably just allergies. Oh, I've never had allergies before. And here's what I would do for it. Oh, that's interesting. But then he did a swab, came back, and said, and you tested positive for influenza B, but you don't show any symptoms. Wait a minute. So this body that years ago almost died from getting that virus happened to be in contact with that virus again, and there were so few symptoms that it shocked the doctor that I tested positive for it. And yeah, you can hear a little bit of the raspiness in my voice, but that's about it. That's all that happened. Had some tiredness. What a miracle that is. I wouldn't have known had I not gone to the doctor that, oh, I got this thing again that years ago hospitalized me and almost killed me, and now has hardly any effect. And of course, you're probably all thinking, and my mind was too, well, I didn't have to get it again. And if I was really that healthy, why did I even get influenza? Shouldn't I be immune and superpowered? No, I created the exact experience that showed me the miracle. How beautiful was that? I have an amazingly strong, healthy body because I chose to have one and because it felt like peace. I went to the doctor, ended up having the same virus that almost killed me years ago and had very little effect, which to me was the perfect miracle. Oh, thank you for that tender mercy. My spirit knows exactly how to create the experiences that will keep me creating my happiest life in the easiest way possible. And did I need it to know that I ever got that again? No. But it lit me up to see that miracle happen. None of the things that were failing were failing again, even with the same virus. My body handled it just fine. So, starting tomorrow, want you to focus on one thing and one thing only. I'm living in alignment no matter what. And things will come up that you're aware of. Ooh, I feel like having more money. Okay, I'm gonna focus on what that feels like, and then I'm gonna stay in alignment. Well, yeah, but my brain says I need to go write the affirmations down to get more money. Wait, but that didn't feel like alignment, so I'm not doing it. Oh, I want to try this meditation that Daryl created. That felt like alignment. Let me go try it. Get in alignment, follow the peace. Yes, you have those desires for a reason. Focus on them and visualize them and live in that wish fulfilled, but not to the point that you are trying to force your brain to be there. If it doesn't feel like alignment, let it go. If it does feel like alignment, do it even if it doesn't make sense. Because you are the master. There is nothing greater than the power of you. When you are living in alignment, you will naturally create your happiest life and you will manifest miracles. Thank you so much for watching. I'll see you next time.
